"Paperclay adds a whole new dimension for the hand builder of sculpture. It open up as-yet unexplored areas of creative possibility. Tony Birks author of The Complete Potter's Companion (see "see off the Shelf" PMI Summer 1999) states: The most revolutionary development of sculptural ceramics in this century (1900's) has been the rapid spread over the last decade of the use of paper clay." Hi Rosette,

The workshop I took with you some years ago in Washington State enlarged my way of making clay. I love your paper clay for platters, figures, draping figures. All kinds of things. I also make some of my own out of various clay bodies. I transport my summer work from Montana to California for firing and I can almost get l00% breakage free. This is pre-bisquing. I would have gotten l00% last year, but I made a packing mistake.

Cheers and thanks.

Dear Rosette:

This is exactly the way you led me on-feed the soul- and for that I am so much thankful to you . You have opened a different window into my perception of the world and that was the start of a wonderful trip that I continue to follow. Thanks again. We do not meet  very often - in our lives- inspired people who change our course of lives, you were one of those for me.
Keep inspiring people, obviously this is your role on earth - nothing to do with the medium- you are above it.  And this is very important for you to realize it .

Best of the best
